Mae alwmina yn gyfansoddyn caledwch uchel.

Alumina is a high temperature resistant material. Its function is to make Ruby and sapphire. Another function is to make aluminum by electrolysis. The last function is to smelt metal aluminum. Alumina materials have a wide range of uses, which can not be described too much by the phrase "alumina is everywhere".
